Google has already embedded the software into its latest Android mobile operating system is expected to launch a music streaming service imminently.
It’s said that it will launch the product at its I/O developer conference in San Francisco.
Similar to Google Documents Google Music will work by tracks uploading tracks to Google’s servers and then can be streamed anywhere. It is said that Google has not struck any deals with labels or music publishers.
No deals will be made with labels, as the service will only allow consumers to stream data they already own, but there will also be limited to 20,000 tracks.
